BEYOND THE PROPERTY PURCHASE
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Buying a property that needs work might seem like a daunting prospect, but it can be a very exciting and hugely satisfying process. You can create unique and beautiful spaces that suit your exact requirements; you can exercise your imagination to design something that excites and delights.
Knowing where to start is the first hurdle, and that is where we come in.
We have bought and restored two of our own properties and we worked closely with the BBC production team on the property that was restored for ‘Amanda and Alan’s Spanish Job’. Over the course of these projects, we have put together a great team of trusted local building contractors, sub-contractors, architects, planners and craftspeople. These people have vision and commitment and take great pride in their work. Having made our own mistakes in the past, and learned from them, we can ensure that our clients’ needs are met from the beginning of the project to the very end.
Ian and Andrew both have design backgrounds: Ian’s degree is in Architecture and Andrew is a Graphic Designer, and the couple have great eyes for detail. As a team, they are able to advise on feasibility, visualise the most rudimentary of ideas, translate those ideas into practical solutions and co-ordinate the process from start to finish.

CASE STUDIES
CASE STUDY 01
ESPERANZA 9
Originally the village blacksmith’s, this humble terraced building was most recently a garage used for storing almonds. It was a shell with very little character. However, it did have the makings of a roof terrace and we knew we could create a house around this, linking ground and first floors by creating an Arabic plunge pool as part of the circular journey through the house. Ibiza and Moorish styles influenced the open-plan design of the accommodation, allowing light to flood in and for there to be a dialogue between interior and exterior spaces.
