If you are looking for a manageable and successful Bed & Breakfast business, then Casa Aire de Lecrin is a perfect property. It has been running as a Bed and Breakfast for several years and has an enviable reputation in the area and amongst guests who have stayed here. The property was fully restored for use as a tourism business with great attention to detail using many traditional materials and the styling draws inspiration from the history and culture of Andalucia.

There are 6 guest bedrooms, all of which have ensuite bathrooms. 4 of the bedrooms are double, 1 is single and the other is a family room. All the rooms are equipped with energy-efficient heating/cooling systems.

There is private accommodation for the owner of the property and this has a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and dressing area, a living room with lovely fireplace and wood-burning stove, and an office area.

On the ground floor, there is a large guest dining area and a sitting area with an open fireplace for winter evenings.

There is an Arabic-style patio on the ground floor with a plunge pool and the large and comfortable roof terrace affords views across the village to the surrounding countryside.

Not attached to the property, there is a 1,500 m2 plot of land within Pinos del Valle that has been planted with olive and fruit trees and this land is included with the purchase price.

In summary, this is a well-established tourism business with all the goodwill attached to its reputation. The location is ideal for all-year-round visitors: 30 minutes from Granada, 25 minutes from the beaches on the Costa Tropical and within an hour of the ski resort in the Sierra Nevada.

The BBC One programme, ‘Amanda and Alan’s Spanish Job’ was filmed across Andalucia throughout the summer of 2024. Amanda Holden and Alan Carr bought an abandoned village house in Moclín through Granada Village & Country, and the historic village was the main focus for the programme, following Alan and Amanda’s progress as they restored the property.

‘Amanda and Alan’s Spanish Job’ will be shown on BBC One from 24th January 2025 and will be available on iPlayer.

The restored property will be available for sale through Granada Village & Country, and featured on Rightmove, at the end of the series.
